Next-generation sequencing (NGS)

Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS): Advancing Genomic Research

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is a high-throughput DNA sequencing technology that has revolutionized the field of genomics. With the ability to analyze millions of DNA sequences in a single run, NGS enables researchers to study genetic variation, gene expression, and many other aspects of molecular biology in a more comprehensive and efficient way.

At Bionics, we offer a wide range of sequencing services that leverage NGS technology, including whole-genome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, and targeted sequencing. With our advanced bioinformatics analysis services, we are able to provide insights and solutions for a wide range of research questions and clinical applications.

The following services are available:

Metagenomic Sequencing service applies whole genome shotgun sequencing of DNA that is directly recovered and isolated from complex enivronmental or human sample types, including the gastrointestinal tract, soil and water.

Metagenomic Sequencing not only provides information on species composition and abundance, but also on functional genes, gene differences between samples, metabolic pathways and provides a rich data resource for mining for bioactive products such as novel enzymes and other biocatalysts.

Sample Requirements

Regular Samples:
Intact genomic DNA ≥ 200ng (Recommend ≥ 400ng)
Concentration ≥ 8ng/μL
Volume ≥ 15μL
Low Input Samples:
Intact genomic DNA ≥ 10ng
Concentration ≥ 2.5 ng/μL
Volume ≥ 15μl

Complete sample-to-analysis solutions including customizable extraction and data analysis options available Superior data quality that exceeds Illumina’s benchmarks for the NovaSeq, HiSeq™, and MiSeq™ (Learn More) In-house pipeline for optional Sanger-based confirmatory sequencing of final targets utilizing your NGS samples Dedicated support from Ph.D.-level project managers plus real-time project updates so you’re never in the dark Flexible service packages to meet your budget and deadline.

Terms: –

QC costs per sample could be charged in case QC failure, hold due to sample issues, or not able to resubmit the samples. shipping charges will be applied on resending sample QC passed sample(s) will be processed automatically, so inform us immediately if you want to hold the process. QC hold/fail sample(s) can be processed upon your confirmation and note that we charge library cost regardless of success or failure. In an event of an order cancellation, a certain amount will be charged depending on the progress of the order. RNA Stabilization Tube required for transportation: –

RNA Stabilization Tubes eliminate the need for cryogenic infrastructure and costly transportation of RNA on dry ice. A proprietary formulation preserves RNA at ambient temperature for ~3 years under optimal conditions to simplify your sample storage, shipping, and handling while reducing your overall shipping costs by up to 80%. The tubes provide thermal stability for RNA samples from -80°C to 76°C during transportation. RNA is protected against degradation immediately upon addition to the tubes, and the brief drying process helps prevent damage from RNA hydrolysis and oxidation.
